James P I'm 57 years old and not a runner or gym rat. I'm wondering how old you are? Also, tho you say you have never really hiked before, do you ever do treadmill or stairmaster? I'm trying to figure out if I can even make it so would like to compare myself with you. Also, congrats on your good time at just over an hour! Thanks for the tip on packing light. I'm assuming no bathrooms en route but I'm sure I will be sweating my water out so that won't be a problem. The website says to bring a dry tshirt since it it cooler at the top. What do you think?

Take ur time and enjoy the hike. I did it as fast as I could. U can do it! But definitely take water. And buy a t-shirt at the top - gives the specifics -3000 steps, etc. Have fun!
