We all chickened out, even the ones that were prepared with their swimming attire. I can't even imagine jumping in that freezing water even though locals do it all the time. Interesting to watch them…Full review by Trish A

A pleasure to answer this as I was brought up in part in Carlingford, parking is available on street level, the forty foot is that close to the street,depending on time you may have to pay. The forty foot is right beside small pier type harbour literally. With the weather we are having now it will be packed so early morning or late evening is best oh and a week day would be even better.

The swimming area is just South of Dublin. I’m sure there are buses, but I guess the first occasion you could take a taxi, just to get your bearings. It’s def worth the journey!
