Hi there. Yes it is safe in terms of security. But, the normal taxis that one can just stop on the side of the road do tend to speed and overtake recklessly cause they race for the next passenger so it would be recommended that first you communicate that you want them to drive responsibly.

Depending on your tour agent operator they might drop you there but otherwise Dune 7 is far out from many attractions and can be best toured either through a pre-selected or arranged itinerary or by driving yourself there. Some tour operators offer door to door pick up and drop off depending on your selection of the sites to be visit and the package you have selected. Personally arranged transport is also recommended.
