Can I bring my 2 girls, aged 10 and 8 on these tours? They are extremely mature for their age, can walk the distance required and are inquisitive little things.

Absolutely. However, Sarah isn't doing the tour any more. One of her friends took over. He seems very, very knowledgeable. But these tours are family friendly and very easy.
