From our inception in 1995, JCLA has consistently developed design and project skills to become a leading landscape architecture firm. Under the direction of Jeffrey Carbo, FASLA, the firm has developed a considerable range of projects while maintaining a keen awareness of the environment and the importance of identities unique to the places in which we work. The result has been the creation of thoughtful and responsible design solutions. From our portfolio of completed works over the last fourteen years, JCLA fosters ideals of exceptional design and stewardship with attention to detail. Residential commissions have a place of importance in the current project mix, even as the firm/client list has expanded to include institutional and municipal commissions, corporate offices, botanical gardens and regional parks. Successful projects in these areas have led to JCLA’s inclusion on multi-disciplinary design teams for large, complex projects. JCLA’s twelve-person office is located in Alexandria, Louisiana.
