Curated uniquely for the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, In Bloom explores themes of rebirth, identity, abstraction, humanity, and forces that move us to collective change through a fresh introduction to Spring. Cultivating a garden of metamorphosis, this exhibition presents a diverse array of artists whose perspectives are materialized through painting, sculpture, and photography. Together, these works challenge our conventional understandings of seasonal change, giving space for new narratives to bloom.

Exhibition Dates June 29, 2018 – October 21, 2018 Primal Water: An Exhibition of Japanese Contemporary Art Primal Water, the BGFA exhibition curated by Midori Nishizawa, highlights important works of post-war Japanese art. Throughout the exhibition, Nishizawa uses water as a motif to present a survey of Japanese Contemporary art history. The featured artists approach the theme water in a myriad of ways from documenting its absence, capturing its abundance, decontextualizing its existence, and exploring its relationship with humanity. Nishizawa finds a meaningful connection between Las Vegas as an oasis in the desert and this very universal theme as we fight to protect the global environment and access to clean water.

Honestly it might be pretty boring for the child. The gallery is a moderate sized space and usually very quite due to the mass availability of audio tours. It is a rotating attraction and currently Picasso is on display, though most of the work is his less widespread stuff. Mandalay Bay Shark Reef might be a better speed for a child.
