No the ark is off the highway to the left, you cant see it from the highway, the hotels are back up the highway about 10 15 miles and the little town the same. best things to do is get an hotel that evening, then get up the next morning drive up the highway to the ark and spend your time there. there really is nothing around that area just that little town
