Arces-Dilo is a commune in the Yonne department in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in north-central France. The commune of Arces Dilo was formed in 1977 by the union of the former communes of Arces and Dilo. Dilo owes originates from a Premonstratensian abbey founded in 1132 and enriched by many generous donations. The monks there developed iron and steel works. During his exile in France to Pontigny, Thomas Becket stayed at Dilo, where he consecrated the church in 1168.
