Amgad Abdu, MD, is a specialist in pulmonary disease, critical care, and sleep disorders. He is certified in critical care medicine, internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and sleep medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Abdu is medical director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Departments at UPMC Northwest. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York-Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York University Medical Center and his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New York.
